ABA​ and​ UnionPay​ International​ (UPI)​ bring​ you​ UnionPay​ MoneyExpress,​ a​ secure,​ convenient,​ and​ fast​ remittance​ service​ that​ enables​ ABA​ UPI​ cardholders​ to​ make​ fund​ transfers​ with​ other​ UPI1​ cards​ via​ ABA​ Mobile​ in​ real-time2.

1​ Currently​ available​ for​ UPI​ cards​ issued​ by​ banks​ in​ Cambodia,​ Mainland​ China,​ Hong​ Kong,​ and​ Macau.
2​ UnionPay​ International​ requires​ banks​ to​ make​ funds​ available​ to​ recipient​ cardholders’​ account​ in​ real-time​ or​ within​ 12​ hours​ of​ sending​ the​ transaction.​ Actual​ availability​ of​ funds​ is​ subject​ to​ banking​ hours,​ system​ availability​ and​ compliance​ with​ regulatory​ requirements.​

Additional​ important​ information

  • UnionPay​ MoneyExpress​ is​ only​ available​ in​ USD​ or​ ABA​ customers​ and​ not​ available​ for​ transfers​ between​ ABA​ UPI​ cards.
  • The​ currency​ conversion​ fee​ is​ based​ on​ the​ UPI​ exchange​ rate​ at​ the​ time​ of​ transfer.

How​ to​ transfer​ funds​ from​ ABA​ UPI​ card​ with​ UnionPay​ MoneyExpress

  1. Launch​ the​ ABA​ Mobile​ app;
  2. Tap​ Transfers​ on​ the​ main​ screen​ and​ select​ Transfer​ to​ cards;
  3. Choose​ UnionPay​ MoneyExpress1​ and​ select​ the​ UPI​ card​ you​ want​ to​ send​ from;
  4. Enter​ the​ receiver’s​ card​ 16-digit​ card​ number,​ name,​ amount2,​ and​ purpose;
  5. Agree​ to​ the​ Terms​ &​ Conditions​ and​ tap​ Transfer;
  6. Check​ the​ details​ and​ confirm​ with​ your​ ABA​ Mobile​ 4-digit​ PIN.

1​ If​ you​ do​ not​ have​ an​ ABA​ UPI​ card,​ apply​ one​ by​ visiting​ one​ of​ our​ branches.
2​ Fee​ in​ USD​ will​ be​ displayed​ after​ the​ transfer​ amount​ has​ been​ entered.

How​ to​ receive​ funds​ to​ ABA​ UPI​ card​ with​ UnionPay​ MoneyExpress

To​ receive​ money​ via​ UnionPay​ MoneyExpress,​ ABA​ customer​ needs​ to​ provide​ their​ name​ and​ the​ 16-digit​ card​ number​ to​ the​ sender.​

ABA​ customer​ will​ be​ notified​ via​ the​ ABA​ Mobile​ app​ once​ the​ funds​ are​ credited​ to​ their​ bank​ account​ linked​ to​ the​ card.

UPI​ Money​ Express​ is​ a​ payment​ network​ of​ UnionPay​ International​ Co.,​ Ltd.​ for​ peer-to-peer​ (P2P)​ transactions​ that​ allow​ ABA​ UPI​ (debit​ card)​ cardholders​ to​ make​ domestic​ and​ international​ money​ transfer​ from​ ABA​ mobile​ app​ to​ other​ UPI​ cards​ issued​ in​ Cambodia,​ China,​ Hong​ Kong,​ and​ Macau.​ 
You​ can​ send​ funds​ instantly​ to​ UPI​ cards​ issued​ by​ any​ bank​ in​ Cambodia​ (excludes​ ABA​ UPI​ card).​ 
You​ should​ input​ the​ 16-digit​ number​ or​ more​ depending​ on​ issuer​ bank,​ receiver’s​ name​ &​ purpose​ of​ the​ transfer​ (for​ international​ transfer)​ both​ of​ which​ can​ be​ found​ on​ the​ receiver’s​ UPI​ card.
The​ maximum​ amount​ for​ the​ single​ transaction​ shall​ not​ exceed​ USD​ 2,500,​ while​ daily​ shall​ not​ exceed​ USD5,000​ and​ monthly​ shall​ not​ exceed​ USD​ 20,000​ or​ 10​ transactions​ a​ day​ and​ 20​ transactions​ a​ month.​

It​ is​ a​ real-time​ payments​ network​ allowing​ ABA​ customers​ to​ transfer​ money​ within​ 12​ hours​ of​ sending​ transaction.​ Actual​ availability​ of​ money​ transfer​ is​ subject​ to​ banking​ hours,​ system​ availability,​ and​ local​ beneficiary​ bank​ regulatory​ requirements.
No.​ There​ is​ no​ service​ fee​ for​ the​ beneficiary​ to​ receive​ money.
No,​ you​ cannot​ cancel​ the​ transaction​ once​ it​ has​ been​ submitted.​ Hence,​ please​ ensure​ the​ details​ are​ correct​ before​ you​ proceed​ with​ the​ transfer.
After​ you​ perform​ the​ transaction,​ you​ can​ proceed​ to​ Notifications​ section​ of​ the​ app​ and​ see​ the​ amount​ of​ funds​ that​ was​ blocked​ on​ your​ account​ for​ the​ transfer.
Yes,​ you​ can.​ Every​ new​ transaction​ is​ subject​ to​ the​ new​ fee​ charge.​ Please​ check​ the​ transfer​ limits​ and​ fees​ table​ above​ for​ more​ information.
There​ is​ no​ currency​ conversion​ fee​ for​ remittance​ to​ RMB​ accounts​ as​ this​ service​ settles​ the​ exchange​ rate​ in​ advance​ and​ deposits​ the​ funds​ into​ the​ receiver’s​ UnionPay​ account​ in​ RMB.
You​ can​ simply​ re-launch​ the​ ABA​ Mobile​ app​ and​ verify​ your​ transaction​ history​ to​ check​ if​ the​ transaction​ has​ been​ executed​ (active​ Internet​ connection​ required).​ In​ case​ of​ having​ any​ issues,​ please​ contact​ our​ 24/7​ Contact​ Center​ at​ 098​ 203​ 203​ for​ support.
Of​ course!​ Simply​ move​ the​ “Create​ Template”​ toggle​ when​ you​ make​ your​ first​ UPI​ Money​ Express​ transfer​ in​ ABA​ Mobile,​ and​ the​ template​ for​ this​ transfer​ will​ be​ automatically​ added​ to​ the​ list​ of​ your​ templates​ under​ Quick​ Transfer​ menu​ of​ the​ app.
You​ cannot​ send​ money​ using​ UPI​ Money​ Express​ in​ ABA​ Mobile​ with​ another​ ABA​ UPI​ card.​ Please​ use​ account-to-account​ feature​ in​ ABA​ Mobile​ to​ send​ to​ another​ ABA​ accountholder.
