ABA Bank receives ten awards from VISA, cementing market leadership in Cambodia

ABA Bank attained 10 Leadership awards from VISA, the world’s leading digital payment service provider. This signifies ABA's unwavering commitment to driving the growth of cashless payments and financial inclusion in Cambodia throughout 2023.
The awards were presented at the VISA Client Appreciation Event 2023. The event recognized and celebrated the contributions of participating banks to the growth of VISA products and the introduction and promotion of cashless payments in Cambodia.
ABA Bank's dedication to excellence was recognized with ten awards at the VISA event:
- Leadership in Spend per Active Card for VISA Debit in Affluent Segment 2023;
- Leadership in Total Active Terminal 2023;
- Leadership in Consumer Debit Payment Volume 2023;
- Leadership in Debit Activation Rate 2023;
- Leadership in Credit Activation Rate 2023;
- Leadership in E-commerce Merchant Sales Volume 2023;
- Leadership in Active Net New Merchant Onboarded 2023;
- Leadership in Domestic Merchant Sales Volume 2023;
- Champion in Innovation 2023;
- Champion in Impactful Usage Campaign 2023.
With the two Champion awards, which became valuable addition to this year’s awards list, VISA underscores ABA’s innovative approach to developing new payment solutions and highlights the Bank’s successful campaign in encouraging card usage in the market.

Recently, ABA became the first bank in Cambodia to introduce instant Card Machines, revolutionizing the card issuance process. The Machine allows ABA Mobile users to obtain cards in under two minutes without branch staff assistance.
