ABA Bank proudly became the Gold Sponsor for the inaugural Sangker River Run, a remarkable 30-kilometer race organized by the esteemed non-profit arts and circus center Phare Ponleu Selpak.
On the pleasant morning of 20 January, the Sangker River Run unfolded in Battambang, surpassing conventional athletic challenges to become a dynamic celebration of creativity and a vital fundraiser for Phare Ponleu Selpak's educational and social initiatives.
The bank's sponsorship covered essential race materials such as bibs and signage and addresses indispensable logistical costs, ensuring the flawless execution of the event. ABA's commitment went beyond financial backing, with our staff actively participating in the deployment for participants, volunteers, and organizers to ensure a seamless event experience.

Phare Ponleu Selpak – meaning the Brightness of the Arts – is a non-profit arts school that empowers children, youth and their communities. Today, more than 800 students participate in a multitude of daily artistic and cultural activities on the Phare campus free of charge. Classes and workshops include music, dance, visual arts, theatre, circus, animation, graphic design and illustration. Phare Ponleu Selpak changes lives through the arts by giving students the opportunities to become professional and self-sufficient artists and performers.
