Simple steps to transfer funds via Ria

Transfer funds in ABA Mobile

  • Launch ABA Mobile app;
  • Go to Transfers and tap International Transfers – Ria;
  • Choose Send Money;
  • At Receiving option, choose either Pick up at Agent or Bank Deposit;
  • Key in the purpose of sending, your relationship with the receiver, the receiving currency, and the transfer amount;
  • The flat fee 3 USD will appear after input the transfer amount;
  • Tap Transfer and confirm the transaction with your 4-digit ABA Mobile PIN;
  • Once done, an 11-digit code of the transaction will appear. You can tap it to share with the receiver.

Transfer funds at ABA Branch

  • Go to the nearest ABA branch in your area with your passport (for foreigners) or national ID (for locals) if you are a non-ABA account holder.
  • Complete the Ria Money Transfer form and hand it over to our teller with the money you want to send along with the transfer fee.
  • Get a unique eleven-digit reference number (PIN code) and share it with the receiver so they could collect funds from any Ria agent in their country.

Terms and conditions

  • This promotion is exclusive to ABA customers.
  • The promotion is applicable for ABA customers sending money from ABA Bank via Ria Transfer to any ASEAN country, including The Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei, and Malaysia. It applies to transfers from ABA Mobile and/or any ABA branch to a bank account and/or Ria agent at the receiving end.
  • Each ABA customer can transfer up to USD 9,999 within 30 calendar days, and the flat fee 3 USD will be shown after keying in the transfer amount for customers who transfer via ABA Mobile.
  • The receiving currencies depend on the destination country’s and exchange rate will provided by RIA.
  • ABA Bank and Ria reserve the right to terminate this promotion or vary these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • ABA Bank and Ria’s decision on all matters related to this promotion is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
