ABA Bank became a Diamond Sponsor of the Access to Finance Program (AFP) 2023 to promote financial literacy and financial inclusion among young entrepreneurs and SMEs via training programs and loan application facilitation.
The program is organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), a non-profit organization that supports the development of young entrepreneurs and SMEs in Cambodia, in partnership with the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) and the Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA).
To kick off the program, YEAC organized the first CEO Gathering under the theme “Access to Finance: Preparing for Stock Exchange and Capital Market and Debt Financing Program” to share recent development of policy, programs, and news about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cambodia.
The event was praised by the delegations of the National Bank of Cambodia, Khmer Enterprise, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia, and other honorable guests held on 31 March 2023.
To support the event, ABA Bank’s Chief Small Business Loan Officer Chanrith Sar participated in a panel discussion on “Preparing for Debt Financing”.
“ABA Bank is honored to be Diamond Sponsor of the program and have the opportunity to share the Bank’s professional expertise on debt financing and help equip business owners with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed,” said Chanrith Sar.
“At ABA Bank, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of small businesses in Cambodia and are delighted to be a part of this great initiative," he added.
