Riel Day 2025: ABA Bank actively participates in promoting national currency

ABA Bank is pleased to participate in Riel Day 2025, held on 30 April 2025 at Doun Kaev municipality, Takeo province. Organized by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), this event aims to raise awareness of the crucial role and usage of Khmer Riel and promote financial literacy among the public.
The event was attended by H.E. Yim Leat, NBC's Deputy Governor, H.E. Vei Samnang, Takeo's Provincial Governor, ABA's provincial staff, participating banks, students, and others, garnering 3,000 attendees.
Throughout the day, ABA actively interacted with visitors, highlighting its effort to enhance financial inclusion and endorsing the national currency. At the dedicated booth, ABA staff provided helpful information on the Bank's Riel saving products, emphasizing the high-interest rate deposits, Instant Account openings, and prize giveaways activities.
In line with ABA's continuous effort to promote KHR usage, the Bank's ATMs, Cash-in kiosks, and Cash Recycling Machines are equipped to accept and dispense Riel notes of varying denominations. This setup ensures that customers can easily save, withdraw, and manage their finances in the national currency.
