Public Announcement on service disruption
29/Nov/2021
Dear customers,
On Thursday, November 25, many of you were unable to access your ABA accounts due to an unexpected disruption of our service. After finding the issue in a technical error that happened during the routine overnight upgrade of our banking system, we enabled our Business Contingency Plan immediately and started restoring the system from the backup stored in one of our Data Centers.
In several hours, all our banking services were restored. During the period of unavailability of service, we guarantee that there was zero material damage or loss to the Bank, and all your funds and money were safe and secure, as always.
We fully understand the impact of this disruption on you and regret the inconvenience and worries it has caused. Let us assure you that we were working round the clock with the third-party vendor who is the supplier of our banking system to identify the root cause, and have made every possible effort to ensure that such issues do not happen again in the future.
While we were taking all necessary steps to rectify the problem, we were glad to receive support and understanding from our clients. We sincerely appreciate retail and corporate customers, suppliers, and governmental institutions for your cooperation, cordial understanding of the situation, and valuable feedback that helped us restore the services. We went through it together, and now THANK YOU for this support.
Our customers always were and will remain in the center of everything we do. Once again, we understand the inconvenience the disruption caused and bring our sincere apologies to all of you. Looking forward, we will keep anticipating your banking needs and bringing you modern services and products with a high level of safety and security.
We are privileged to serve you and thank you for all that patience, understanding, and, above all, for your endless trust and confidence in ABA Bank.
The management and staff of ABA Bank
