Driving fintech forward: ABA sponsors TSC's Reverse Innovation Cohort 5

As a leading digital finance provider, ABA Bank is proud to become the Diamond Sponsor of the Reverse Innovation Cohort 5, organized by Techo Startup Center (TSC).
This intensive 3-month accelerator program is designed to support startups in developing innovative solutions to solve market challenges with insight from domain experts.
On 3 September 2025, the program kicked off with the Reverse Pitch Day, where shortlisted startups were invited to the opening ceremony, attended by H.E. Dr. Taing Nguonly, Director of TSC, Theam Romny, ABA Bank's EVP and Chief External Affairs – Regional Manager, and other distinguished guests.
One of the key events of the Pitch Day was the sharing sessions from domain experts, where experts from various entities provided essential insights to startups, helping them to identify challenges and co-define the solutions.
Notably, ABA Bank's Head of Large Business Lending Department, Uy Cheuheang, participated as the domain expert and delivered a presentation on 'Inclusive Digital Finance for the Informal Economy'. Uy emphasised the critical role of accessible financial services for underserved populations and sustainable development within the informal sector.
Looking forward, ABA remains steadfast in supporting TSC and its mission to empower innovation and creativity among local startups, further advancing the growth of Cambodia's fintech industry.
