ABA unveils GiftCard on ABA Mobile, bringing instant digital gifting to Cambodia

ABA Bank announces the launch of GiftCard, a new feature on ABA Mobile that makes gifting simple, instant, and fully digital.
With GiftCard, users can choose from a wide range of popular merchants – including restaurants, cafés, hotels, spas, stationery shops, and more – and send a thoughtful gift directly to friends, family, or colleagues in just a few taps.
The feature is available in the latest version of ABA Mobile and can be accessed through the Gift Zone or Mini Apps section. Sending a GiftCard is quick and convenient. Users can select a recipient from their Favorites list or share the GiftCard via any messaging app. Each GiftCard is delivered securely as a digital QR code, ready to be received and used anytime.
How it works
For senders:
- Open ABA Mobile and go to Gift Zone or Mini Apps, then select GiftCard
- Choose a merchant and select the desired value
- Personalize the GiftCard with a message
- Select a recipient or share via messaging apps
- Confirm payment and send instantly.
For receivers:
- Receive the GiftCard directly in ABA Mobile or via QR code
- If received as a QR code, scan it using ABA Mobile to accept
- All GiftCards are stored in ABA MyPass (top right corner of the main screen)
- Redeem the GiftCard at participating merchants – in-store, online, or via bill payments.
