ABA Bank, the number one commercial bank in Cambodia, contributed $15,000 to the Financial Literacy workshop initiated by the National Bank of Cambodia. The donation was used to produce 5,000 “Let’s Talk about Money” kid’s comic books handed over to the Muk Neak primary school students in Siem Reap on August 12, 2022.

The workshop was attended by H.E. Dr. Mok Sarom, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and distinguished guests.

The workshop aims to integrate financial education into the school curriculum, such as budget planning and savings culture, making students think critically about how secure and beneficial it is to save money with a financial institution.

This activity corresponds to ABA Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles and the Bank fully supports the National Bank of Cambodia initiative to provide students across the country with fundamentals of financial knowledge.
