ABA sponsors Cambodia Banking Conference 2023, shows dedication to the advancement of local banking sector

ABA Bank, Cambodia’s largest commercial bank1, proudly supported the Cambodia Banking Conference 2023. The conference focused on "Promoting Sustainable and Digital Banking in Cambodia" and took place in Phnom Penh on 24-25 August. The event was organized by the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) with the support of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
The conference was graced by the presence of H.E. Kith Sovannarith, Director General of Banking Supervision of NBC, and representatives of the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), members of ASEAN Bankers Associations, local financial institutions, and other stakeholders. Throughout the conference, speakers presented topics concerning sustainable finance and digital banking.
ABA became the Diamond Sponsor of the conference, showing its dedication to innovation and the advancement of the local banking sector.
Additionally, Head of Credit Development and Training Department at ABA Bank Vong Chetra participated in a panel discussion on "Lending in a Digital-First Era." Chetra shed light on the expected changes in the lending landscape in an era of rapid digitalization and the increasing use of digital touchpoints for banks, consumers, and businesses.
