ABA named Best Bank in Cambodia 2023 by Global Finance magazine

ABA Bank, a member of National Bank of Canada Group, has been named "Best Bank in Cambodia 2023" by Global Finance magazine. This prestigious award was presented at the 30th annual awards for the World's Best Banks event in New York, where ABA Bank was recognized for its strong performance in the market and its commitment to meeting the needs of its customers.
The judges of Global Finance praised ABA Bank for its exceptional performance over the year, highlighting several recent developments.
These include the introduction of the first-in-Cambodia Card Machine with a multi-language interface that enables customers to issue international debit cards and local Cambodian Shared Switch cards in just two minutes. ABA customers issued 220,000 cards via ABA Card Machines in 2022.
In addition, ABA Bank developed Junior Account – a digital account for minors from 10 years of age and up, offering access to modern banking and cashless facilities through their own ABA Mobile app.
The bank also integrated new services and features on the ABA Mobile app, such as a non-collateral instant Salary Loan for employees of the companies who opted for the ABA Payroll service and an innovative insurance purchase platform through a strategic bancassurance partnership with Manulife.
Furthermore, ABA Bank expanded its network of branches and self-banking spots across the country, boasting 85 branches and 30 24/7 ABA spots. The total number of self-banking machines in the Bank's ecosystem reached 1,200.
