ABA introduces QR Scan in its Cash-in Machines

Dear customers,
On September 1, 2019, we are introducing QR Scan feature in our Cash-in Machines to ease the cash deposit process.
ABA customers will simply use QR code scanner in ABA Mobile app to scan the code on the screen of Cash-in Machine and select one of their own accounts where the cash should be deposited to. Further, customer can transfer funds to any other ABA account (or even abroad) using ABA Mobile from anywhere and at any time.
This change eliminates the risk of entering wrong account number while depositing money and sending it to improper recipient, which is a major concern in using Cash-in Machines the Bank has learnt from the customers’ feedback. Additionally, we expect it will speed up the cash deposit process by removing the necessity to key in account number and validate the account holder name.
