ABA Bank supports Smile Cambodia's surgical mission in Siem Reap

As a socially responsible citizen, ABA Bank is proud to be the Gold Sponsor of Smile Cambodia's free surgical mission at the Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital. The Bank humbly donated $10,000 to the mission's success.
Held from 13-15 March 2025, the mission treated patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities, all free of charge. A dedicated team of medical professionals, including Cambodian, Chinese, and Hong Kong volunteers and surgeons, worked diligently to provide patients with the new, beautiful smiles they deserve.

The impact of these missions goes beyond physical change; it opens doors to a brighter future for these Cambodian children.” expressed Chan Kok Choy, Executive Director of Smile Cambodia.
Yin Chindapheakday, ABA's Siem Reap Branch Manager, also stated, “Smile Cambodia's work is truly admirable. It is heartwarming to witness our contribution, which is making a lasting positive impact in the community.”
As part of the mission, 50 ABA staff from the Siem Reap branches also participated in the “Walk for a Smile” event the following day, celebrating the mission's success and raising awareness for the organization's crucial work for the Cambodian people.
As a long-standing partner, ABA has always been active in supporting Smile Cambodia and its mission. In 2024, the Bank was a Platinum Sponsor for the same mission in Siem Reap. The Bank also helps raise awareness of each mission in various provinces through its social media platform, calling for patient screenings.
