ABA​ Bank​ took​ part​ in​ the​ Startup​ Day​ along​ with​ 30​ other​ companies​ to​ welcome​ emerging​ startups​ and​ digital​ enthusiasts​ to​ its​ premises​ on​ December​ 6.​ Organized​ by​ Startup​ Jungle,​ a​ tech-networking​ group​ that​ gathers​ startup​ ninjas,​ product​ rock-stars,​ and​ engineers​ for​ regular​ training​ and​ knowledge​ sharing,​ this​ tour-like​ event​ allowed​ visitors​ to​ get​ up​ close​ and​ personal​ with​ the​ teams​ behind​ ABA’s​ digital​ products​ and​ services.

The​ visitors,​ encompassed​ of​ university​ students,​ professionals​ with​ digital​ background​ and​ representatives​ from​ different​ startups,​ visited​ ABA​ Bank’s​ Digital​ Banking​ Division.​ They​ were​ greeted​ by​ Zokhir​ Rasulov,​ ABA’s​ Chief​ Digital​ Officer,​ who​ gave​ a​ presentation​ on​ the​ digital​ innovation​ journey​ of​ ABA​ Mobile,​ Internet​ Banking,​ and​ PayWay​ payment​ gateway​ to​ the​ visitors.​ At​ the​ end​ of​ the​ tour,​ the​ visitors​ also​ had​ the​ opportunity​ to​ meet​ and​ talk​ to​ various​ members​ of​ the​ digital​ team.

Soung​ Chornay,​ one​ of​ the​ visitors​ who​ is​ a​ freelance​ mobile​ app​ developer​ said,​ “I​ chose​ to​ visit​ ABA​ Bank​ because​ ABA​ Mobile​ is​ growing​ rapidly​ in​ the​ market,​ its​ features​ are​ user-friendly​ and​ fast.​ That’s​ why​ I​ would​ like​ to​ meet​ the​ team​ behind​ it.​ Seeing​ how​ nice​ the​ working​ environment​ is,​ I’m​ very​ happy​ to​ have​ this​ opportunity​ to​ be​ here.”

Another​ visitor,​ Kim​ Sophal,​ former​ product​ development​ manager​ at​ a​ fintech​ company​ Agribuddy​ shared​ similar​ opinion.​ He​ chose​ to​ visit​ ABA​ because​ of​ the​ popularity​ of​ ABA’s​ digital​ products​ in​ the​ market.​ “I​ think​ ABA​ is​ the​ leader​ in​ digital​ banking​ that​ drives​ the​ market.​ What​ impressed​ me​ the​ most​ is​ that​ the​ digital​ developments​ are​ done​ internally​ by​ the​ creative​ minds​ of​ Cambodians,​ which​ we​ can​ be​ proud​ of.​ I​ also​ love​ the​ working​ environment​ here​ –​ it​ feels​ comfortable​ and,​ I​ believe,​ leads​ to​ the​ staff​ productivity,”​ he​ noted.​
