ABA Bank launches cross-border payment with Vietnam's VietQR

ABA Bank announced the launch of its cross-border QR payments through the ABA Mobile app, enabling seamless transactions in Vietnam. ABA Mobile users can now conveniently scan and pay with VietQR codes at any merchant across Vietnam.
ABA Mobile users must have a full-fledged Khmer Riel account to make payments in Vietnam using cross-border QR payment methods. Instant Accounts can be upgraded to full-fledged accounts at any ABA branch.
Similar to the KHQR scanning process in Cambodia, to make QR payments, ABA Mobile users need to launch the ABA Scan feature on the app, scan the VietQR displayed by the merchant, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction with their app's PIN. There is no limit to transaction counts, but the maximum payment amount is capped at 10 million Riels per day.
By leveraging advanced technology, ABA Mobile users can easily make digital transactions, eliminating the need for physical cash and ensuring a quick and secure payment process across Vietnam with a wide range of merchants of TP Bank and BIDV.
