Job Purpose
A data center engineer's responsibilities include designing, implementing, and monitoring data center systems and facilities. A data center engineer must be conversant with a wide range of IT infrastructure, including servers, cables, power systems, and cooling equipment, in order to keep an IT facility physically safe, including fire safety.

Major Areas of Responsibility
- Designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the data center system and facilities in accordance with regulations and requirements.
- Managing, monitoring, patching, and providing technical support in a data center environment.
- Ensures that it fulfills the compliance and security standards of the bank's policies.
- Participate in support rotations.
- Keeping the data center diagram up to date.
- Providing technical advice on large-scale initiatives.
- Develops and maintains operational guidelines for maintenance and support.
- Coordination with other third parties and vendors.
- Perform any other tasks as given by the line manager.
- Data center facility design and execution.
- Electrical engineering principles for designing and maintaining data center electrical systems.
- This covers understanding of electrical systems, electrical components, electrical safety, and electrical standards.
- Knowledge of UPS architecture.
- Knowledge of cooling system architecture.
- Knowledge of data center maintenance.
- Fire suppression system.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication skills are excellent.
- Excellent teamwork skills with internal and external teams
- Capable of managing many projects.
Skill and Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar subject.
- 3–4 years minimum of demonstrated experience as a data center engineer
- Solid knowledge of data center infrastructure.
- Being able to develop and plan with diagrams and paperwork
- Good in analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good in cooperation.
- English and Khmer proficiency for communication
