Phishing Security Advisory

Dear Valued customers and partners,

This is an important message from ABA Bank and this message has been issued due to emergence of phishing sites.

Phishing is a technique used by fraudsters to obtain sensitive information such as passwords, Internet Banking logons and bank card details by creating fraudulent websites or sending an e-mail or message pretending to be from a trustworthy organization.

If you receive an e-mail or text message that asks for your personal information, do not click on any link or provide any Internet Banking or telephone banking log on details. Please forward suspicious e-mails or details of text messages that ask for your personal information [email protected] and then delete it from your inbox without responding. This information will be used to help reduce fraud online.

If you think you may have fallen victim to phishing or any other type of online fraud, please, call us as soon as possible on +855 23 225 333.

To protect you from in-session phishing attacks, we recommend to:

1. Deploy web browser security tools.

2. Always log out of banking and other sensitive online applications and accounts before navigating to other websites.

3. Be extremely suspicious of pop-ups that appear in a web session if you have not clicked a hyperlink.

4. Always check whether you are in the bank's correct website address www.ababank.net. The Bank's correct IBank service address is https://secure.ababank.net. There are no other websites for ABA bank, if you happen to access a website with similar identity as ours, please, report at [email protected].
