ABA ranked as top performer under CGCC's Credit Guarantee Scheme

ABA Bank has been awarded first place as the Top Performing Partnering Bank 2025 under the Credit Guarantee Scheme of the Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC), reaffirming its leadership in supporting SMEs nationwide.
The handover ceremony was held on 27 January, as part of the 5th anniversary celebration of CGCC. Presided over by H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, the ceremony was attended by government officials, banks and microfinance institutions, and other distinguished guests.
This achievement builds on ABA's continuous recognition for its remarkable efforts to facilitate a significant share of guaranteed accounts, reflecting its commitment to expanding access to finance and fostering financial inclusion. By enabling enterprises to secure loans backed by credit guarantees, ABA has contributed to the growth and stability of Cambodia's economy.
The MoU signing between ABA and CGCC in 2025 for two credit guarantee agreements further strengthened this success. The projects enabled ABA to extend financing to businesses and rice exporters/millers with limited collateral for working capital, thereby boosting Cambodia's competitiveness in global markets.
Through its strong performance under the credit guarantee schemes, ABA continues to empower entrepreneurs, promote sustainable development, and contribute to Cambodia's long-term prosperity – cementing its position as a trusted leader in the banking sector.
