ABA partners with Mastercard to bring you Mastercard Send, a personal payments service that enables funds to be sent quickly and securely to other Mastercard cards issued by banks in Cambodia and over 50 other countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond.

ABA Mobile users can make card-to-card transfers domestically and internationally typically within minutes¹ directly to/from their bank account and at competitive fees.

Mastercard Send provides great convenience, choice, and security to instant money transactions – anytime and anywhere, using the existing Mastercard cards. Mastercard Send is:

Additional information

Mastercard Send is only available in USD for ABA customers and not available for transfers between ABA Mastercard.
The currency conversion fee is based on the Mastercard exchange rate at the time of transfer.

How to transfer from ABA Mastercard to another Mastercard with Mastercard Send

Launch the ABA Mobile app;
Tap Transfers on the main screen and select Transfer to cards;
Choose Mastercard Send¹ and select the Mastercard you want to send from;
Enter the receiver's card 16-digit card number, name, amount², and purpose;
Agree to the Terms & Conditions and tap Transfer;
Check the details and confirm with your ABA Mobile 4-digit PIN.

How to receive money to ABA Mastercard using Mastercard Send

To receive money via Mastercard Send, ABA customer needs to provide their name and the 16-digit card number to the sender.

ABA customer will be notified via the ABA Mobile app once the funds are credited to their bank account linked to the card.

1. What is “Mastercard Send”?

Mastercard Send is a payment network of Mastercard for card-to-card transactions that allows ABA Mastercard debit cardholders to make domestic and international money transfers via the ABA mobile app to other Mastercard cards issued in Cambodia and Singapore.

2. What countries are available for this service?

This service is available for Mastercard cards issued in Cambodia (excluding ABA Mastercard) and over 50 other countries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond.

3. Can I use this service to send funds to another ABA Mastercard?

You cannot use Mastercard Send for such transfers. Instead, send money directly from your bank account using ABA Mobile.

4. What information shall I request from the receiver to send them funds via Mastercard Send?

You should input the 16-digit number and receiver’s name both of which can be found on the receiver’s Mastercard.

5. What is the maximum amount for domestic/cross-border money transfer via Mastercard Send?

The maximum amount for the single transaction is USD 2,500, while the daily limit is USD 5,000 and monthly limit is USD 10,000. You can use Mastercard Send up to 10 times a day and 20 times a month.

6. What should I do if I transfer funds to a wrong Mastercard card number?

In case of a wrong transfer, inform ABA Contact Center immediately at 098 203 203. To avoid such cases, always double-check the name and recipient information before confirming the transfer in the app.

7. How long does it take for domestic/cross-border transfer via Mastercard Send?

It is a real-time payment network allowing ABA customers to transfer money within 30 minutes or less. Actual availability of the money transfer is subject to banking hours, system availability, and beneficiary bank’s regulatory requirements.No. There is no service fee for the beneficiary to receive money.

8. Will the beneficiary of my Mastercard Send transfer be charged for this service?

No. There is no service fee for the beneficiary to receive money.

9. Can I cancel the transaction that was completed?

No, you cannot cancel the transaction once it has been submitted. Hence, please ensure the details are correct before you proceed with the transfer.

10. Will I get any confirmation of the transaction in ABA Mobile after I transferred via Mastercard Send?

After you perform the transaction, you can proceed to Notifications section of the app and see the amount of funds that was blocked on your account for the transfer.

11. Can I make several transfers with Mastercard Send in my ABA Mobile?

Yes, you can. Every new transaction is subject to the new fee charge. Please check the transfer limits and fees table above for more information.

12. What is the currency exchange rate for Mastercard Send transfers to overseas?

The currency conversion is based on the exchange rate of Mastercard at the time of transfer.

13. What should I do if my phone gets disconnected or switched off while performing the Mastercard Send transfer on ABA Mobile?

You can simply relaunch the ABA Mobile app and verify your transaction history to check if the transaction has been executed (active Internet connection required). In case of having any issue, please contact our 24/7 Contact Center at 098 203 203 for support.

14. Can I create template for regular transactions?

Of course, you can. Simply move the “Create Template” toggle when you make your first Mastercard Send transfer in ABA Mobile and the template for this transfer will be automatically added to the list of your templates under the Quick Transfer menu of the app.
