Public Announcement on the changes of Flexi Deposit Rates

We would like to inform you that effective from 02 October 2017, ABA Bank reduces the interest rate of Flexi Deposits opened with promotional interest rate 3.50%, 3.25%, and 3.00% p.a.
The reduction of the interest rate will follow the below conditions:
| Existing Interest Rate (p.a.) | New Effective Interest Rate (p.a.) |
| 3.50% | 3.00% |
| 3.25% | 2.75% |
| 3.00% | 2.50% |
The reduction of interest rate is made considering the following factors:
- ABA is considered as a low-risk bank with moderately strong credit ratings of “B” confirmed by international credit rating agency Standards & Poor’s (S&P). In addition, ABA is 90% backed by the strong shareholder, National Bank of Canada – the “A+”-rated bank with 158 years history of operations.
