ABA supports the Canada-Cambodia business networking reception in Siem Reap

ABA Bank, the largest commercial bank in Cambodia1 and a National Bank of Canada subsidiary, became a sponsor of the Canada-Cambodia networking reception hosted by the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) on 17 September 2022. The Reception was held on the margins of the 54th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) Meeting and Related Meetings in Siem Reap.
The event was attended by Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development of Canada, H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Minister of Women’s Affairs of Cambodia, and other distinguished guests and business representatives.
The Reception facilitated new connections and provided the foundation for more partnerships between Canada, Cambodia, and the rest of ASEAN.
During the event, Zokhir Rasulov, Chief Digital Officer at ABA Bank, delivered keynotes on ABA Bank’s contribution to the digital banking transformation and financial inclusion in Cambodia as part of the National Bank of Canada Group.
