ABA Bank plays part in supporting Cambodian currency at Riel Day event

ABA Bank participated in Riel Day events in Kampong Speu and Preah Sihanouk provinces on April 3 and 5, 2023. Both events were organized by the National Bank of Cambodia to raise awareness about the importance of Cambodian currency and financial literacy.

The event was attended by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, along with the governors of both provinces.

ABA staff engaged with visitors during the events with the account opening and prize giveaway activities.

"Riel is an integral part of our national identity, and its usage is critical to the growth and development of the Cambodian economy. Therefore, we are proud to sponsor the Riel Day event, celebrating the currency's importance and history," Sophanna Em, Provincial Manager at Kampong Speu Branch, commented on the occasion.
