Interest-free Mode (For Muslim Community)

ABA Bank's Interest‑free Mode is a program designed in collaboration with the Cambodian Amanah Takaful Association (CATA) to support the Muslim community in managing finances in accordance with Islamic principles – all securely and conveniently within ABA Mobile.
The program allows users to convert their savings accounts into interest‑free accounts, with any interest redirected to charitable and community development purposes.
What is Interest‑free Mode?
Interest‑free Mode is an optional banking feature that enables ABA Mobile users to opt out of receiving interest on their savings accounts.
Instead of benefiting the account holder, the interest earned (after applicable tax deductions) is redirected to the Cambodian Amanah Takaful Association (CATA) to support charitable initiatives and community development.
The feature can be enabled at any time for any ABA savings account right in ABA Mobile – no branch visit required.
