Fostering smart saving culture: ABA sponsors ASEAN Savings Day 2024

ABA Bank became the Platinum Sponsor of the ASEAN Savings Day 2024 to promote the importance of savings and the usage of Khmer Riel. This year's event is organized by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC).
On 31 October 2024, the workshop was held in Kampong Speu province with attendance from the Provincial Governor, NBC's representatives and other distinguished guests.
Under the theme “The Importance of Savings from your Childhood”, this workshop aims to raise public understanding of the significance and culture of savings from a young age, in line with promoting the ASEAN financial Inclusion.
The event also serves as a platform for banking and financial institutions to raise financial literacy and promote the usage of Khmer Riel through their services and products. Notably, ABA set up a dedicated booth and supported the visitors in opening ABA Instant Accounts, informing customers about the benefits of ABA's saving products and through giveaway activities and a lucky draw.
ABA is committed to continue playing an active role in financial literacy-related initiatives, ensuring that all Cambodians make well-informed financial decisions.
