Empowering responsible financial practices: ABA sponsors ASEAN Savings Day 2025

ABA Bank proudly joined the ASEAN Savings Day 2025 as a Platinum Sponsor, supporting smarter financial habits and the use of Khmer Riels. The event, hosted by the National Bank of Cambodia, with support from the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) and the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), is held annually to promote the significance of smart savings and the usage of Khmer Riels.
Held on 31 October 2025 in Kampot Province, this full-day event brought together government officials, financial institutions, students, and community members for a full day of learning and engagement.
Throughout the day, attendees explored ways to save responsibly and learned how financial institutions are helping promote financial literacy across Cambodia. ABA Bank set up an interactive booth where visitors could open accounts, discover savings products, and take part in fun giveaways.
ABA’s participation reflects its ongoing mission to empower Cambodians with the tools and knowledge to build a secure financial future.
