Empowering next generation of banking professionals: ABA sponsors CamEd Banking Forum 2025

In a continuous effort to promote financial literacy, ABA Bank became the Platinum Sponsor of the CamEd Banking Forum 2025. This forum, organized by the CamEd Business School, aims to enhance public understanding of the banking sector in Cambodia, offering students and professionals an opportunity to explore career pathways and roles within the industry.
The forum was held on 10-11 October 2025, garnering over 200 participants, including university students, industry experts, and professionals. The event featured a series of workshops and panel discussions focused on finance and accounting, further fostering knowledge-sharing among participants.
ABA Bank's Chief Risk Officer, Torsten Kleine Buening, participated in the forum through a sharing session titled ''Risk Management in Practices'', where he provided practical insights and the critical role ABA plays in identifying and mitigating financial risks in the banking sector.
A dedicated ABA booth was also set up at the event, providing students with the chance to explore internship and employment pathways with the Bank, engage with ABA representatives, and learn more about available vacancies.
Looking forward, ABA affirms its dedication to advancing Cambodia's financial sector by investing not only in digital innovations but also in nurturing the next generation of banking professionals to thrive in the ever-evolving industry.
