ABA supports the 11th Sea Festival in Kampot province to promote coastal tourism

ABA Bank, the largest commercial bank in Cambodia1 and active corporate citizen, proudly extended its commitment to promoting coastal tourism and raising awareness on sustainable development as the Gold Sponsor of the recent 11th Sea Festival in Kampot province.
Organized by the Ministry of Tourism, the event was held from 13-15 Dec 2024 and presided over by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. The event was graced with the presence of H.E. Mao Thunin, Kampot Provincial Governor, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, relevant ministers, key stakeholders, and other distinguished guests.
Under the theme 'Celebrating the Heritage and Sustainability of Coastal Regions', the event hosted various cultural activities from traditional performances, firework shows, and multi-cultural musicals/dances to food and product exhibitions.
This annual lively event aimed to enhance the country's coastal tourism potential and promote local products, further contributing to social and economic growth.
ABA Bank also set up a booth at the Festival for Instant Account openings and conducted interactive games to win prizes, fostering financial inclusion and community engagement.
The Bank remains steadfast in supporting the Royal Government's initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability, tourism growth, and economic progress of the nation.
