ABA Bank has become the Gold Sponsor of the inaugural National Financing Forum for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), co-organized by the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) and the Federation of Associations for Small and Medium Enterprises of Cambodia (FASMEC).
Held on 27–28 October under the theme “Access to Finance for MSMEs”, the two-day forum aimed to promote financing solutions for MSMEs while strengthening connections between government institutions, business owners, and financial institutions. The event was presided over by H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance.
As part of the forum, ABA entered into a strategic partnership with FASMEC through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reinforcing its commitment to supporting the growth and development of Cambodia’s MSME sector.
Under the agreement, FASMEC members will adopt ABA’s PayWay service as a digital payment solution, while ABA Bank will provide financial literacy workshops to help members strengthen their financial knowledge and capabilities.
The Bank's Chief External Affairs Officer, Theam Romny also joined a panel discussion highlighting the important role of financial literacy and transparency in improving businesses’ access to financing opportunities.
In addition, ABA showcased its products and services at its dedicated booth, engaging with participants and introducing digital banking and loans solutions designed to support businesses of all sizes.
As a long-standing partner of FASMEC, ABA reaffirms its commitment to empowering Cambodian MSMEs with accessible digital payment solutions, financial knowledge, and banking services that support their sustainable growth.
