ABA joins ABC Tree Planting Day to promote environmental sustainability

ABA Bank became a proud sponsor of the Tree Planting Day, organized by the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) on 9 July 2025, reaffirming its efforts to environmental sustainability.
Held at Tuol Koki Primary School in Kandal Province, the event brought together representatives from ABC and partnering banks, ABA staff, teachers, students, and other guests. In addition to tree planting efforts to enhance the greenery within the school environment, various stationery items were also distributed to local students to support their learning needs.
Kimyean Yoan, ABA Mukh Kampul Branch Manager, commented on the event, "We are pleased to partake in ABC's Tree Planting Day this year. Focusing on building a greener future, this important initiative allows us to give back to the community we serve and explain the importance of planting and preserving trees to the new generation."
Tree Planting Day is an annual event initiated by ABC to promote environmental awareness and community engagement. Each year, it brings together financial institutions, local authorities, and schools in a shared effort to foster a greener environment across the country.
