ABA introduces domestic transfers service in its mobile banking app

ABA Bank, Cambodia’s leading commercial bank in digital finances, announces today the launch of a new feature in the ABA Mobile app, Domestic Bank Transfer Service.
Through this service, ABA Mobile app users can transfer funds to local banks quickly and round-the-clock without paying a visit to bank branches or issuing a check. The transfer is available in both USD and KHR depending on the source account’s currency, while the transaction fee goes as low as 0.05% of the transferred amount (minimum 3 USD).
To transfer funds to local banks using the ABA Mobile app, users can follow these simple steps:
- Go to Transfers section of the app;
- Select Transfer to Local Bank.
- Select the source ABA account and fill in the recipient’s details along with the transfer amount and purpose.
- Confirm the transaction with the 4-digit ABA Mobile PIN.
In case the transaction was not successful, the customer will be notified of it in the app within one working day.
“As more customers embrace digital technologies to simplify their tasks, mobile banking from ABA helps to take care of a wide range of daily chores,” says Zhiger Atchabarov, Chief International Operations Officer of ABA Bank.
“Now, ABA customer doesn’t need to withdraw cash and bring it to another bank branch or draw a check every time they need to make a local bank transfer. Instead, they can do it in their smartphones from the comfort of home or place of business. The service is available 24/7, and we believe it will be of great convenience to many customers,” he adds.
