ABA Bank’s PayWay platform receives two Asia eCommerce Awards
ABA Bank, one of Cambodia’s leading private financial institutions and a subsidiary of National Bank of Canada has received two awards for its online payment gateway, PayWay, from the Asia’s leading Marketing magazine.
The awards are bestowed on PayWay across Best in eCommerce (Brands) – Banking / Financial Services and Best eCommerce Payment Solutions categories. The trophies were handed over to the Bank during the annual Asia eCommerce Awards 2019 held in Singapore on 21 November 2019.
On the awards ceremony, Marketing magazine applauded ABA Bank’s PayWay for its strong eCommerce brand and for providing the best eCommerce payment solutions to local businesses in Cambodia.
Commenting on the occasion, ABA Bank CEO Askhat Azhikhanov said, “We are proud to receive two awards for our comprehensive online payment gateway. Since its successful launch in 2017, PayWay has received significant development. We continuously introduce new functions and tools for merchants, expand the list of available payment options for customers, and provide extensive technical support and integration. As a result, PayWay now helps hundreds of microbusinesses and SMEs to enhance their online sales and boost revenue, while at the same time contributing to the transformation of Cambodia towards a cashless society.”
All entries were evaluated by a 39-strong judging panel comprised of senior digital eCommerce and industry experts from renowned brands including AIA, Alibaba.com, Coca-Cola, Foodpanda, Lazada, Marriott International, National Australia Bank, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, and many more.
Being perfectly tailored to the local business needs, PayWay online payment gateway from ABA Bank provides secure, convenient and easy-to-integrate solution that helps entrepreneurs sell their products or services online and accept payments instantly.
It gives businesses or public service providers an additional payment option and can be easily integrated with merchant's existing website or mobile application developed for iOS or Android platforms. Additionally, PayWay aims at promoting the use of the local currency, since it supports transactions in USD and Khmer Riels. PayWay accepts payments through major international cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay (UPI) with more payment options to be added soon.
