ABA and its customers together donate 18,000 USD to combat COVID-19

During this temporary time of hardships, it is our responsibility to work together in fighting against the spread of COVID-19. On March 26, ABA Bank launched a fundraising Anti-COVID-19 campaign with an initial goal of raising 5,000 USD which the Bank would double to 10,000 USD for the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Due to the overwhelming response, we managed to reach and even surpass our initial target of 5,000 USD in less than a week. Hundreds of ABA customers contributed 9,000 USD and we at ABA still decided to double this amount, so a total of 18,000 USD will be passed to the MOH for the purchase of medical supplies to mitigate the spread of the virus.

The fight against COVID-19 goes on, and we welcome all ABA Mobile app users to spread their contribution easily by following the steps below:
- Launch ABA Mobile app and tap Payments button.
- Go to Charity & Donation section.
- Click “ABA ANTI-COVID-19”.
- Select the account from which you wish to donate, enter your phone number and amount.
- Tap “PAY NOW” and confirm with your ABA Mobile PIN.
We will pass the collected funds to the Ministry of Health every month, keeping you informed on the collected amount.
