ABA Bank continues its commitment to supporting education and young people's well-being by contributing $3,000 to Pour un Sourire d'Enfant Cambodia (PSE)'s Meal Program and Study Material Program.
These initiatives aim to support vulnerable children with nutritious meals and essential learning materials, such as backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils, and school uniforms, giving them the necessities to focus on their education and pursue a bright future.
On 10 September, an ABA team led by Ly Vithiea, Chief Human Resources Officer, visited PSE to hand over the contribution and distribute lunch to students. The visit also allowed the team to learn more about PSE's work, meet the students, and see how these programs support their everyday learning.
"At ABA, meaningful community support begins with understanding and addressing the needs of people. We are inspired by PSE's long-standing mission to provide nutritious food, improve health and well-being, and deliver education that is tailored to each student's interests and competencies,” stated Ly Vithiea during the visit.
“Through this contribution, ABA is proud to support PSE's efforts and hopes to help students gain access to essential learning materials and nutritious food. We believe these resources are fundamental to their educational journey, empowering them to absorb knowledge, develop their potential, and pursue their dreams with confidence." She concluded.
Established in 1996, Pour un Sourire d'Enfant Cambodia (PSE) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children in Cambodia. Through education, vocational training, healthcare, and social support, PSE provides children with opportunities and resources to build a better future.
This contribution reflects ABA Bank's continued support for initiatives that address practical community needs and create better opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
