On Saturday, 24th of May 2014 ABA Bank celebrates the opening of its 9th provincial branch in Cambodia. Kampot branch inauguration took place with the official license giving and ribbon cutting presided over by Mr. Moung Savat, National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) Kampot Provincial Branch Director and H.E. Khuy Khun Hou, Kampot Province Governor. The inauguration was also attended by prominent business owners and high-ranking government officials in the province.

During his opening ceremony speech, Mr. Askhat Azhikhanov, ABA Bank CEO pointed out the Bank’s extensive plan, “Kampot is our 18th branch, and until 2017 we are planning to expand up to 40 branches in total. Our core values and clear vision help us conduct clear, transparent business-dialog with our clients, partners as well as achieve our major goal - help Cambodia, its businesses and people to build a bigger and brighter future by providing high-grade, technologically advanced banking services for all.” 

In turn, the NBC Kampot Provincial Branch Director and Kampot Province Governor highlighted in their speeches that ABA Bank demonstrates a high performances along with expanding its business across the country and underlined the importance of providing diversified modern banking services, and financial products in Kampot region. And, at the end along with greetings to ABA Bank they wished to the management and all employees of the Bank success in operating effective and sustainable business.

ABA Kampot Branch expects to play a key role in the long term strategic plan of the bank along with the bank’s aim to get closer to the people especially those in the rural areas and meet their increasing banking needs. 

The branch is located at the heart of the city’s business district (No. 14 Street Ekkareach, 1 Ousaphea Village, Sangkat Kampong Kandal, Kampot City) and is headed by Mr. Sokha Mang, Branch Manager. The branch will be providing a wide access to the high quality financial services and full range of banking products including deposits, loans, remittance, cards and more, catering the needs of fast growing business activities in the region. 

The opening of Kampot branch demonstrates the bank’s strong growth, commitment to offering easy accessible banking services throughout Cambodia and being true to its core of providing “A partnership you can trust”. Kampot branch is the second provincial branch of ABA Bank launched in 2014 (together with Kampong Speu branch). Opening of four more branches is planned for the nearest future.
