Promoting art education for Cambodian youth: ABA Bank supports National Art Competition

ABA Bank, Cambodia's most prominent commercial bank1, became the Diamond Sponsor of the National Art Competition hosted by Global Art Cambodia. The event occurred at the Cambodia Korean Cooperation Center (CKCC) on 22 October 2023 and gathered young artists aged 4-18. This year's competition theme was "My Home"; the artists illustrated their creative and inspiring visions of home in their artwork.
Chief External Affairs Officer-Regional Manager of ABA Bank Theam Romny shared her welcoming remarks during the event. "I am so impressed with the creativity and talent of the young artists participating in this competition. Your artwork is a reminder of the importance of home and the power of art to bring people together."
"ABA Bank has made the right decision supporting this important event. We are committed to helping young people in Cambodia to reach their full potential. Art is a powerful tool for self-expression and creativity. It can also help young people develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills," she added.
ABA Bank's sponsorship of the National Art Competition is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the arts and culture in Cambodia. The Bank is proud to promote Cambodian youth's creativity and talent.

The National Art Competition is a platform for young artists to showcase their talents and compete for prizes and recognition. The Global Art competition champion will represent Cambodia in the International Art Competition in California, USA, in December.
