ABA partners with Caltex to introduce ABA/Caltex Fleet Card
19/Oct/2023
ABA Bank, Cambodia’s largest commercial bank and Chevron (Cambodia) Limited, which markets the Caltex™ brand, announced the launch of the ABA/Caltex Fleet Card to the market. The ABA/Caltex Fleet Card is a cashless payment solution designed to simplify fuel expense management for corporate customers.
The launch ceremony of the ABA Caltex Fleet Card was held on 18 October 2023 with the presence of Askhat Azhikhanov, Chief Executive Officer of ABA Bank, and Pongtorn Tangmanuswong, Country Chairman of Chevron (Cambodia) Company Limited. Senior management representatives from ABA and Chevron also witnessed the launch.
The ABA/Caltex Fleet Card is a corporate payment card that allows businesses to purchase fuel from Caltex stations on a credit basis. It is a secure, convenient, and affordable solution that can help corporate customers simplify the management of fuel expenses and exert control over their fleet expenditures.
With one card per vehicle, the company can easily track fuel spending, limit geography, pre-set spending limits, and freeze cards in case of suspected fraud. Accurate transaction reports help identify areas for further improvement. All this ultimately contributes to the improvement of the business’s operational efficiency.
Companies can apply for the card online and receive a credit limit based on their needs. The card can be used to purchase fuel at any of the 64 Caltex stations across Cambodia. It bears no issuance or annual fees and has a 5-year validity period.
ABA/Caltex Fleet Card simplifies fuel expense management by eliminating the need for businesses to carry cash. Instead, they can simply swipe their ABA/Caltex Fleet Card at the Caltex station, and their fuel purchase will be automatically charged to their account. Payments with the ABA/Caltex Fleet Card are secure, as each card has a PIN that prevents unauthorized spending.
“The ABA Caltex Fleet Card is designed to simplify the management of fuel expenses for businesses of all sizes. It is a cashless, secure, and efficient solution that offers the flexibility to purchase fuel on credit and with credit limits tailored to each business's needs,” commented Askhat Azhikhanov.
“We believe that many companies across Cambodia will explore the benefits of this solution as our fleet card offers convenience, security, and cost efficiency,” he added.
“Not only the secure payment, convenience, and control of the fleet’s expenditures, ABA/Caltex Fleet Card customers can also get the unique benefits of Caltex premium fuels with Techron® additive, which helps clean the engine and makes the engine run smoother and go further distance,” said Pongtorn Tangmanuswong.
“Both individual customers and corporate fleets can now enjoy the same superior experience at our 64 Caltex stations. We are growing our network nationwide and will have more than 70 stations by the end of this year while targeting to reach 100 stations in 2025,” he added.
