ABA​ Bank​ is​ proud​ to​ be​ the​ Platinum​ Sponsor​ of​ Smile​ Cambodia's​ free​ surgical​ mission​ held​ in​ Siem​ Reap​ Referral​ Hospital​ from​ 20-22​ March​ 2024.​

The​ mission​ focused​ on​ providing​ life-changing​ surgeries​ for​ individuals​ with​ cleft​ lip,​ cleft​ palate,​ and​ other​ facial​ deformities.​ A​ dedicated​ team​ of​ medical​ professionals,​ including​ Malaysian​ volunteers​ and​ Cambodian​ surgeons,​ worked​ tirelessly​ to​ offer​ free​ surgical​ care​ and​ improve​ the​ lives​ of​ those​ in​ need.

"We​ are​ grateful​ for​ ABA's​ support​ of​ our​ important​ surgical​ mission​ in​ Siem​ Reap.​ With​ their​ support,​ along​ with​ the​ dedication​ of​ our​ medical​ team,​ we​ were​ able​ to​ transform​ the​ lives​ of​ 44​ individuals​ through​ successful​ surgeries,"​ said​ Chan​ Kok​ Choy,​ Executive​ Director​ of​ Smile​ Cambodia.

"Witnessing​ the​ impact​ of​ this​ mission​ firsthand​ is​ truly​ inspiring,​ and​ we​ look​ forward​ to​ continuing​ to​ provide​ this​ essential​ care​ to​ children​ in​ Cambodia,"​ Chan​ added.

Following​ the​ successful​ surgical​ mission,​ over​ 50​ ABA​ staff​ at​ the​ Siem​ Reap​ branches​ participated​ in​ Smile​ Cambodia's​ "Walk​ for​ a​ Smile"​ event​ on​ 23​ March​ 2024.​ This​ walk​ event​ celebrated​ the​ mission's​ achievements​ and​ raised​ awareness​ for​ Smile​ Cambodia's​ vital​ work.

Smile​ Cambodia​ is​ an​ NGO​ committed​ to​ providing​ free​ surgical​ care​ to​ people​ born​ with​ cleft​ lip,​ cleft​ palate,​ and​ other​ facial​ deformities​ in​ Cambodia.​ Their​ work​ and​ commitment​ ensured​ that​ individuals​ received​ the​ care​ they​ needed​ to​ improve​ their​ health​ and​ well-being.
