ABA Bank Celebrates 17th Year Anniversary, The Year of Great Changes

Based on the corporate tradition, on December 14 ABA Bank held its annual corporate party at the Sofitel Phokeetra hotel in Phnom Penh. More than 400 employees of the Bank from all over Cambodia attended this festive event.

The annual staff party usually gathers all employees of the Bank for summarizing the results of the year and awarding the best employees and branches in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

The start of the event was devoted to the official performance results, which were presented by Mr. Askhat Azhikhanov, ABA Bank CEO. The Bank's top-manager, in particular, noted that during 2013 ABA demonstrated strong and high-quality growth on all the main parameters. Along with the key financial results, Mr. Askhat Azhikhanov enumerated the most prominent achievements of the year: official opening of four new provincial branches in Takeo, Takhmao, Sihanoukville and Chbar Ampov; re-launch of the corporate website with more online tools and responsive design on board; launch of the cash-in deposit machines in the Cambodian market; opening of the new service for the most valued clients – ABA Priority – with dedicated lounge, exclusive servicing  and discounts for its members.

Mr. Azhikhanov has ended up his speech with announcing the plans and strategy for the Bank's development in 2014 including aggressive regional expansion and introduction of unique products and services. During the event, the top-management of ABA Bank also awarded the best employees, teams and branches for their efficient work during the year.

All the guests afterwards immersed in the entertainment program featuring famous singer Meas Soksophea, Pheak Mi comedy show, lucky draws with prizes and dancing program.

Overall, the corporate staff party showed another successful year of ABA Bank, and allowed employees to communicate and exchange positive emotions in a cheerful and relaxing ambience.
