Senior Credit Quality Control Officer

Job Purpose
To conduct official reviews on loan files and site visit of clients’ properties at assigned branches following the Bank’s Credit Policies and Procedures to identify non-compliances such as insufficient, invalid, error, and wrong processed documents as well as take necessary measures to follow up and clarify with branch loan team in order to prepare valid findings for further actions.

Duties of Responsibilities
- Execute loan documents reviews and site visits (at branches and customers’ premises) according to approved schedules;
- Execute loan documents reviews and site visits (at branches and customers’ premises) according to approved schedules;
- Prepare daily work schedule for pre-test and discuss with line manager prior to loan documents reviews;
- Conduct official review on branch loan files to find out any non-compliances following the Bank’s Policies and Procedures to ensure proper post-check and quality of credit documentations;
- Review loan documents (soft copies),
- Seek further clarification and review loan documents (hard copies) if found any suspicious non-compliances;
- Conduct customer’s site visit to their property, loan guarantee(s) and seek confirmation with local authorities regarding ownership and correctness of property;
- Carefully analyze on customer’s business information/financial statement provided compared to credit appraisal done by branch loan personnel;
- Verify title deeds in safety cabinet with branch loan team to ensure proper filing and valid documentations;
- Provide sound judgement and valid reasons of findings;
- Communicate and provide advice to branch loan team for fulfillment of insufficient documents as well as clarifications if found any non-compliance;
- Take further actions to resolve and immediately escalate any serious invalid documentations/frauds to minimize risks associated with it;
- Provide valid and sound summary finding cases and prepare report of loan documents reviews and site visits to address gaps and propose solutions;
- Keep up to date of knowledge of the Bank’s credit related policies, procedures, memorandums, framework or updated instructions approved by management or credit committee in order to effectively excel in own work;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting and Finance, Auditing, or related fields;
- Minimum two years of working experiences in credit or audit field;
- Strong knowledge of Credit Quality Control Policies, Procedures, Framework and reporting;
- Sound judgement, analytical and detail-oriented skills;
- Excellent follow-up, customer services, communication, negotiation, problem solving, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English;
- Microsoft Office and Bank’s software;
- Strong dedication to accuracy and compliance.
