Convenient local transfers via Bakong now available in ABA Mobile

After a significant upgrade, the ABA Mobile app has received a new service that allows users to transfer funds between ABA and local banks and MFIs using Bakong, a blockchain-based payment and money transfer system initiated by the National Bank of Cambodia. The new service is available for iOS and Android users of ABA Mobile.
The Bank customers can now send up to US$ 50,000 and receive up to US$ 100,000 per day via Bakong. Additionally, the funds are transferred instantly between Bakong members, and the list of participating financial institutions is constantly growing.
This new digital money transfer from Bakong is an excellent solution during the Covid-19 time – no branch visits to withdraw money, no queues, and no contact with the cash.
