ABA Bank together with other local businesses sponsored the 4th National Art Competition hosted by Global Art Cambodia. The event took place at Cambodia Korean Cooperation Center (CKCC) on October 9 with more than 250 kids along with their families attending the venue. The art exhibition was participated by young artists aged 4 -18 years illustrating their own “World of Circus”, the theme of the competition for this year.

“It is always exciting to support such activities, where children try to express themselves, showing something that we, adults, may overlook. Such contests help them develop their imagination, feel inspired by the work of their peers, and believe in themselves,” said Igor Zimarev, ABA Bank Head of Marketing Division. ABA Bank's support of this event is an integral part of the CSR policy and core values. It directly aims to make a positive contribution to Cambodia while playing a beneficial role in the lives of the customers as well as for the future of the country as a whole.

The National Art Competition 2016 is the 4th annual contest, which was organized by Global Art Cambodia. The competition was divided into 3 categories based on different age groups. The winners in each group received trophies, certificates and gift bags while consolation prizes were also given to the participants. The Global Art competition champions – Tan Bophavan (5 years old), Sreya Tabassum Hafiz (9 years old), and Chhay Kanika (12 years old) – will represent Cambodia in the International Art Competition in Quanzhou (China) on December 3 this year.
