Clarification statement on shareholders composition of ABA Bank

Advanced Bank of Asia Limited (“ABA Bank” or “the Bank”) would like to clarify on the information about the composition of shareholders of the Bank provided in the press release “National Bank of Canada acquires the remaining 10% stake in ABA Bank” dated 04 October 2019.
According to the Amendment of Memorandum and Articles of Association of ABA Bank registered with the Ministry of Commerce on 19 September 2019, National Bank of Canada purchased 16,499 shares from Damir Karassayev and therefore increased its stake in ABA to 214,999 shares that represents 99.99% of ownership. Damir Karassayev is currently holding 1 share of ABA Bank that represents 0.01% of ownership.
The Bank’s previous statement on National Bank of Canada holding 100% of ABA shares as the result of acquisition was made to facilitate the perception of information and did not mean to mislead the public.
