To support Cambodian students in receiving higher education, ABA Bank is proud to contribute another $20,000 to the Cambodian Children Fund (CCF)'s University Scholarship Program 2025. This educational funding aims to support CCF students in completing their tertiary education and enhancing their career readiness.

The parties signed the cooperation agreement on 12 May 2025 under the esteemed presence of CCF's Founder and Executive Director, Scott Neeson, ABA's Executive Vice-President, Chief Marketing and CSR Officer, Igor Zimarev, and representatives from both entities.

Under this partnership, ABA Bank's monetary support of $20,000 allows CCF to provide comprehensive assistance for school fees, study materials, resources, career development opportunities, and living expenses for their students. This contribution ensures that CCF's high school graduates have a smooth university transition without financial barriers.

In addition to the scholarship support, the agreement also outlines a shared commitment to explore internships, employment, and career exposure options, including interning and landing a job with ABA Bank. These hands-on experiences are beyond valuable for students as they sharpen their skills in the working field.

"We are excited to contribute again to the Cambodian Children's Fund in its mission to transform children's lives through the power of education. This partnership is central to our efforts to build a brighter future for Cambodian youth," stated Igor Zimarev.

"Aligning perfectly with our corporate social responsibility principles, we not only provide financial support but also create opportunities that inspire and empower these students," he added.

“We're especially appreciative of ABA's support for the higher education of CCF students. The rate of transition from high school to university has increased, as have the costs. The donation from ABA helps us ensure that those who have the ability and willingness to move to university are not denied” Stated Scott Neeson.

ABA and CCF's history of a strong partnership was established with the all-inclusive Development Program in 2023, aimed to support underprivileged students. Under the Program, ABA committed $60,000 to CCF's Primary Education Program for three years, ensuring that as many young students receive full-time primary education as possible.

Coupled with a school bus for students' convenient transport and donation of computers for administration work, these efforts reflect ABA's deep commitment to empowering and investing in the Cambodian children's future.
