Avoid phishing scammers 1

We are warning our valued customers to be extra vigilant regarding any emails or SMS claiming to come from ABA Bank, regardless of how genuine they may appear.

Phishing scammers try to pretend looking or sounding like representative of ABA Bank, but here is how you can easily recognize that you are being targeted by a scammer (see the sample of a phishing email below):

  • Pay great attention to the email address that is used to contact you; sometimes, it is just one letter that differs the scamming email address from the real one. Remember that we neither send you emails from ababakn.com, advancebankasia.com, ababankofasla.com, advancebankofasia.com, ababnkofasla.com, accountant.com, ababcambodia.org, ababankonline.com, ababkonline.com, ababnk.com, abacamb.com, advancedbankasia.com or other similar addresses, nor assign third parties to contact you to claim donation prizes, inheritance, gifts, etc. Our official emails come from [email protected] domain only!
  • The content of the email starts with an intimidating message or urges you to click the link / download an attachment.
  • The author of the email doesn’t spell your name correctly or doesn’t address you by name at all.
  • The email signature contains a link that doesn’t have any connection to ABA.

Such activities are frequently used by criminals to convince victims to hand them over such information as card or bank account numbers, passwords and log on details, which can be used to commit fraud. Please remember that ABA Bank will never send you an email, SMS or a website link requesting you to enter your card number, iBanking password or other confidential details.

If you received a suspicious email or SMS pretending to come from ABA Bank and you cannot verify its authenticity, please immediately report us at info(at)ababank.com. If you think you may have fallen victim to phishing or any other type of online fraud, please call us as soon as possible at +855 23 225 333.

Securely yours,
ABA Bank
