ABA proudly supports Cambodia’s first-ever Davis Cup tournament

In honor of Cambodia hosting the Davis Cup Tournament 2024 – Asia/Oceania Group IV for the first time in its history from 8-13 July 2024, ABA Bank proudly extended monetary support to the Cambodia Tennis Federation. The six-day event will be held at the Morodok Techo National Stadium – Tennis Center.
Cambodia’s tennis team, led by the team captain and Secretary-General of Tennis Cambodia Tep Rithivit, features the nation’s most promising tennis stars, including Timothy Tep, Sarinreach Leng, Ponlok Khleang, Kenny Bun, and Mathew Krusling.
The Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group IV Playoff Event features players from eight nations: Cambodia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Matches progress through a round-robin format, with two singles and one decisive doubles match.

The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men’s tennis. It is initiated by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), competing annually with over 150 nations joining, making it the world’s largest annual team sporting competition.
