ABA promotes fintech solutions among professional accountants

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy and in order to promote financial technology in Cambodia, ABA Bank became the Gold Sponsor of the 4th Annual Seminar organized by Cambodia Accounting Club (CAC) at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) on August 18, 2019.
Under the theme “Financial E-Services, The Accountants Should Know – Risks & Tax Treatment”, the event aimed at providing professional accountants with the updates on advanced technology to improve their work efficiency, design the appropriate controls to mitigate the risk and to ensure the tax compliance in that aspect. Head of Business Banking Department at ABA Bank, Mr Chhorn Mandy, became one of the key speakers of the event and explained professional accountants on modern banking services and products that can facilitate their work.
ABA Bank also assigned specialized teams to provide participants with advice on financial solutions and account opening at the designated space at the event venue. ABA Customer Acquisition Officers provided help on the spot to those who wished to open their first ABA account.
The event attracted a total of 450 participants from different walks of life – from Accounting and Finance sector, businesses as well as students and other sectors.
CAC was founded in 2015 by a group of successful audit managers, CFOs and business consultants. Currently, the club has over 360 members and is dedicated to lead and train members to become Accountant Managers for Small and Medium Enterprises in Cambodia.
