ABA football team wins KMH cup

Last Sunday, August 10, 2014 ABA Bank football team won the champion title of KMH football cup, which has been held in Phnom Penh for the last several months. With the 2-2 tie in the final game with J Trust Royal Bank, the team of the Bank topped the standings, having won the trophy with 34 points in total.

Awarding ceremony was held in KHM Park after the end of the final match. In addition to the cup itself, the team of ABA Bank led by Lim Lyna got a cash prize.

KMH Cup took place in Phnom Penh for the first time and gathered nine teams. Among the participants, there are the teams of well-known brands as J Trust Royal Bank, Brown cafe, as well as the team of the organizers – KMH and others. ABA Bank played totally 16 games in two rounds, won the championship, while maintaining a very convincing lead by the difference of the goals scored.
