ABA Bank contributes another US$ 200,000 to Cambodian Red Cross for its humanitarian programs
ABA Bank, the largest commercial bank in Cambodia1, is proud to announce the contribution of US$ 200,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) to continue supporting its humanitarian activities throughout the country. The donation also celebrates the 160th anniversary of World Red Cross Day, which fell on 8 May 2023.
The donation handover ceremony was graced by H.E. Ouk Maly, Deputy Governor of NBC and Head of the Financial Committee of CRC, Askhat Azhikhanov, Chief Executive Officer of ABA Bank, and other distinguished guests at the Cambodian Red Cross headquarters in Phnom Penh.
"We are honored to contribute to the Cambodian Red Cross and express our continued support on the occasion of World Red Cross Day," said Askhat Azhikhanov, CEO of ABA Bank. "The work done by the CRC is critical to the welfare of our communities, and we are determined to play our part in building a better future for all Cambodians."

The CRC is the largest humanitarian organization in Cambodia. It has been providing vital services such as disaster response and preparedness, community health education, and social welfare programs since 1955.
ABA Bank's continued support for humanitarian causes includes a US$ 200,000 donation to CRC in 2022 to aid its disaster relief, healthcare, and social welfare services. This year's donation reinforces ABA Bank's commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and helping to build stronger and more resilient communities in Cambodia.
