ABA Bank becomes Gold Sponsor of MoC Alibaba Kickoff Event, promoting Cambodian products to the global stage

ABA Bank, Cambodia’s largest commercial bank¹, became a proud Gold Sponsor of the Ministry of Commerce's (MoC) Kickoff Event with Alibaba Group. The event was held on 27 May 2024 at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.

The workshop’s theme “Beyond Borders: Bringing Cambodian Products to the Global Market through Alibaba.com” marked a significant step forward for Cambodian businesses looking to expand their reach into the global marketplace.

The event was presided over by H.E. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, Dr. Tan Monivann, Vice President of Mong Reththy Group, alongside representatives from Alibaba Group and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC).

Through a collaborative effort with Alibaba's Electronic World Trade Platform (eWTP), the MoC and Alibaba will establish a dedicated national pavilion on Alibaba.com. This pavilion will provide a centralized platform for Cambodian businesses to showcase their products to a vast audience of international buyers.
